"A Place of My Own" Workshops offer the prospective homeowner a comprehensive pre-purchase and a post-purchase home-buyer's education program.
"A Place of My Own" helps you develop a plan to overcome potential obstacles that could delay or prevent you from owning a home. Educate yourself on mortgage finance, establish a budget and review your credit to determine affordability, prepare for closing and understand the process and protect your investment and adjust to life as a homeowner.
Following the presentation of "A Place of My Own" a certified counselor will provide a confidential credit report review, prequalification and budgeting session to help you prepare for your appointment with your lender. Presentations are held monthly.
